Pharmacy Technician

Join our team of talented healthcare professionals! CompleteRx has an opening for a Pharmacy Technician to help provide exceptional patient care at a 156 bed facility located in Chelsea, MA.

$1,000 BONUS ($500 hiring bonus and $500 after 90 days of employment)

Work Schedule:

• Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm
• No weekends.

What You Will Do

• Ensures procurement and distribution of drug orders 
• Delivers medications and supplies to patient care and ancillary areas accurately
• Rotates stock to ensure use before expiration date
• Picks up orders, requisitions and medications for return from patient care areas when on daily delivery rounds
• Enters charges and credits for patient medications accurately
• Identifies and replaces outdated and unusable drugs
• Deliver med carts to nurses
• Handle order entry
• Refill PRN meds
• Answer questions provided by the nurses
• Prepare the daily McKesson order
• Process a weekly cart fill and monthly unit inspections

What You Will Need 

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Current Pharmacy Technician license as required by practicing state
• One year of hospital experience preferred but not required
• Courteous, professional service to patients, visitors and staff
• Good written and verbal communication skills
