What You Will Do

• Under the general supervision of the Director of Pharmacy and according to standard procedure, compounds and dispenses medication and pharmaceutical supplies upon receiving written orders and prescriptions from the physician. 
• Participates in designated patient medication monitoring activities as defined by department procedures approved by the medical staff. 

What You Will Need 

Requirements:

• Pharm D. or Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy.
• Licensed and registered as a pharmacist in both New York State and Pennsylvania.  If not licensed as a pharmacist in New York and Pennsylvania, Pharmacist must currently be licensed in one of the two states and must obtain licensure in the other state.  Pharmacist must be eligible for licensure as a pharmacist in the state not licensed, and must obtain licensure in the state not licensed within 90 days.  
• One year of experience as a licensed pharmacist in a hospital setting preferred.
